About the Program Directors:

Glenn Krauss is a nationally recognized CDI/Revenue Cycle expert and speaker. He has worked with a wide variety of healthcare systems, independent hospitals, and clinics, ranging from large academic medical centers and fully integrated urban healthcare systems to community hospitals, critical access hospitals, and Federal Qualified Healthcare Centers. Glenn collaborates with physicians and the revenue cycle team to achieve sustainable improvement in clinical documentation that reflects the communication of fully informed coordinated patient care. He incorporates best practice principles and standards of clinical documentation to effectively drive physician engagement using proven strategies that create and foster a sustainable model for clinical documentation improvement. Glenn is sought after for speaking engagements throughout the country on a wide variety of innovative thought provocative clinical documentation improvement topics and subjects.

Jacob Martin, MD, PA-C, CDI-C is a board-certified physician and physician education who has been a practicing provider for over 40 years. Dr. Martin has extensive practice experience in Emergency medicine in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. He has worked in forensic medicine, including as a deputy coroner, medical examiner as well as a sports medicine director for a human performance lab and insurance medical reviewer. Dr. Martin found his passion in clinical documentation integrity and improvement and has worked as an instructor in CDI for the past 22 years. He is board certified by ABPM and ABQURP.

Sharon Easterling has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with proven expertise in the Revenue Cycle Management field. Sharon’s experience includes: Senior Director, Ambulatory CDI, Assistant Vice President, Director of Coding Operations, HIM and Coding Director, HIT Program Director and Clinical Documentation Improvement Director. Sharon most recently authored the Clinical Documentation Improvement Prep Guide and Exam Book for AHIMA and is winner of the AHIMA CSA Recognition for Advancing Coding Knowledge through Code Write publishing. She currently sits on the Executive Board of NCHIMA as President, 2016-2017 and is a AHIMA delegate.

Ryan Changcoco is the founder and principal of the Changcoco Consulting Group. Prior to CCG, Ryan served as the Chief Executive Officer of CSurgeries and The Physician's Edge Group. Prior to his roles as an executive, Ryan served as the Head of Product Strategy for Management Development and Industry at ATD. He also served in different program lead positions at CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and The Advisory Board Company. ​Ryan is a published author and presenter. Ryan's publications include: Talent Development in the American Healthcare System: Meeting the Demands of the Unknowable Future (Palgrave MacMillan), TD Magazine: Which Trends Will Most Affect Talent Developers in the Healthcare Industry? (ATD Press).
